Our students regularly visit our Agricultural Farm, a hub of practical skill development in agriculture. Here, students actively engage in identifying agricultural and horticultural plants, weeds, important insect pests and plant diseases. They gain hands-on experience in planning and laying out crop fields, cultivation practices from sowing to harvesting of different filed crops, vegetables and fruit crops. They master various propagation methods including cutting, layering, budding, and grafting. Additionally, students learn the application processes of organic manures and chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides etc. The Agricultural Farm plays a pivotal role in equipping students with essential practical skills and knowledge, preparing them comprehensively for diverse challenges in agriculture.
